  • The collaboration is part of the ABA’s commitment to generate value and promote the social welfare of citizens while addressing current social challenges.
  • This agreement guarantees the development of FPT’s work in the Principality.

The Fundació Privada Tutelar (FPT) and the Association of Andorran Banks (ABA) have renewed the agreement by virtue of which the guardianship entity will receive an amount of 45,000 euros over three years from the ABA.

This agreement guarantees the development of the FPT’s work in the Principality so that it can continue to provide assistance and protection to incapacitated persons or persons in the process of incapacitation, as well as to minors at risk and persons who are unable to govern themselves. It exercises, among others, their guardianship in order to protect their personal and/or patrimonial interests. The FPT carries out its welfare activities under the protection of judicial declarations and assignments.

Esther Puigcercós, General Manager of the ABA, explains that “The two entities share the same objective of generating value and promoting the social welfare of citizens while facing current social challenges. This agreement allows us to advance in this objective and reinforce the help to families with more difficulties”.

The president of the FPT and Minister of Social Affairs and Public Function, Trinitat Marin, comments that “this collaboration guarantees the development of the task of the FPT and appreciates the social sensitivity that the Association of Andorran Banks has been showing for years by promoting its social commitment”.
