Andorran Banking has renewed its collaboration with UNICEF, which began eight years ago, with the contribution of 6,000 euros that will go to projects to alleviate the needs of children in vulnerable situations. Supporting UNICEF is part of Andorran Banking’s commitment to humanitarian causes, with a special focus on UNICEF’s Inspired Gifts-Gifts that Save Lives program. Through this program, individuals, businesses and organizations can make donations that translate directly into essential resources, such as clean water, vaccines, education and other vital services.

This donation from Andorran Banking will allow to send 20 therapeutic food sachet kits, 10 wind-up solar radios, 143 school backpacks, 90 water purification tablets, 2 manual water pumps, 8 therapeutic milk kits, and a school-in-a-box kit for 40 students.

The collaboration between Andorran Banking and UNICEF Andorra is based on common values, such as transparency, social responsibility and dedication to making the world a better place for all. Andorran Banking General Manager Esther Puigcercós highlights the ongoing commitment to UNICEF: “We are very pleased to maintain this meaningful collaboration with UNICEF for the eighth consecutive year. We firmly believe that financial institutions have a social responsibility, and this collaboration is a tangible manifestation of our purpose to make a positive difference to the world.”

On the other hand, the president of UNICEF Andorra, Marianela Vila, has expressed “the satisfaction of continuing to count on the collaboration of Andorran Banking for the promotion of children’s rights around the world.”
