Education is a key tool to protect, empower and open up future opportunities for children, especially in emergency contexts. With this conviction, Andorran Banking has once again renewed its commitment to UNICEF Andorra, transforming a contribution of €6,006 into essential educational resources for hundreds of children in vulnerable situations.
The donation was channelled through the initiative “Gifts that Save Lives”, a program that makes it possible to convert solidarity contributions into tangible materials that ensure educational continuity, even in environments without electricity, infrastructure or stability.
The impact of Andorran Banking’s collaboration with UNICEF Andorra has resulted in concrete actions such as:
- 20 “Gift Education” packs, providing backpacks, notebooks and solar lamps to 100 children, enabling them to study in safe conditions.
- 10 early childhood development kits, designed to stimulate learning and the emotional well-being of young children.
- 11 mathematics kits, equipping entire classrooms with educational tools to strengthen basic skills.
- 11 “Schools in a Suitcase” kits, making it possible to deliver complete classes to up to 440 children, even in emergency situations.
- 10 solar radios, ensuring access to distance learning and essential information in areas without electricity or connectivity.
This initiative highlights the importance of partnerships between the private sector and social organizations in generating real, measurable and transformative impact in children’s lives. In this regard, the collaboration between Andorran Banking and UNICEF Andorra exemplifies how corporate social responsibility can go beyond theoretical commitment and translate into concrete, tangible actions that change lives.
UNICEF Andorra emphasizes that investing in education is not only about ensuring learning, but also about protecting childhood, strengthening resilience and building futures with greater opportunities.
